What this is

BasketballPrediction.ph is a schedule, results, and standings hub for the Philippine Basketball Association. It publishes the upcoming slate, final scores, and league standings for every PBA team — the established franchises and any visiting guest teams — as a straightforward reference, not a highlight site or a betting product.

Where the data comes from

Data from the official PBA website (pba.ph). A small pipeline reads the league's public schedule and results pages, cross-checks the standings it derives against what the league publishes (via its monitoring command), and exports what it finds into this site once a day. Nothing here is typed in by hand.

That pipeline identifies itself honestly to pba.ph on every request, with a real, traceable user agent string:

It also paces its requests and backs off on errors, so it never hammers the source it depends on.

The honesty rules

This site runs on a short list of rules it doesn't break:

• Only real results are published. A score appears here only after the PBA has recorded that game as final.
• Only real fixtures are published. A game appears on the schedule only because the PBA has actually scheduled it — nothing is guessed or extrapolated.
• No invented previews, no filler commentary standing in for real reporting, and no fabricated venues, times, or storylines.
• When the source data is missing something — a venue, a tip-off time, a conference label — this site says so plainly instead of making something up to fill the gap.

Predictions are planned

Game predictions are on the roadmap but not live yet. When they ship, each prediction will be published before its game tips off — never edited or added after the fact — and graded publicly against the real result once the final score comes in. The same honesty rules above will apply: no quietly rewriting a call after the game is decided.
